This c-ai.chat privacy policy explains that c-ai.chat is an independent guide to Claude AI, not Anthropic or the official Claude product at claude.ai; we do not have your Claude account, Claude chats, API usage, or Anthropic billing data, and we collect only limited site data and information you choose to send us.

Plain-English summary
Short answer: this policy covers c-ai.chat only.
c-ai.chat handles
Site visits, comments, email messages, privacy requests, analytics, and advertising data related to this publication.
Anthropic handles
Claude accounts, Claude chats, API keys, subscriptions, billing, workspaces, and official Claude support.
If your question is about data entered into Claude, a claude.ai account, API usage, billing, workspace settings, or an Anthropic support request, see Anthropic’s privacy policy or Anthropic Support.
This policy applies when you use c-ai.chat pages, including our guides to Claude pricing, Claude features, Claude models, and Claude API docs.
What we collect
We collect limited data so the site can load, stay secure, measure traffic, moderate abuse, and respond to messages.
- Server logs. These may include IP address, request URL, timestamps, browser or device details, referrer, and error data. We use them for security, debugging, abuse prevention, and reliability.
- Cookies and similar technologies. These may support basic site functions, preferences, analytics, ad delivery, ad measurement, and fraud prevention where ads appear.
- Analytics data. This may include page views, referral sources, browser type, device type, approximate location from IP address, and general usage patterns.
- Contact form and email data. This may include your name, email address, message text, attachments you choose to send, and technical metadata needed to deliver and protect messages.
- Comment data. If comments are enabled, we may collect display name, email address, comment text, IP address, browser details, and moderation metadata.
What we don’t collect
We keep a clear boundary between this independent guide and the official Claude product.
OK to send
General Claude questions, broken-link reports, public documentation questions, and privacy requests about c-ai.chat.
Do not send
Claude passwords, login codes, API keys, payment card details, private prompts, customer data, or sensitive uploads.
- Claude account credentials. We do not ask for your Claude password, login code, or workspace credentials. Enter those only on official Anthropic-controlled services.
- Claude API keys. We do not ask for API keys. If you accidentally send one, treat it as exposed and rotate it through Anthropic immediately.
- Claude chats and uploads. We cannot view your Claude conversations on claude.ai or through the Anthropic API. If you paste a conversation into a c-ai.chat form, comment, or email, we receive the content you chose to send.
- Claude billing and payment data. We do not process Claude subscriptions, Anthropic API billing, or payment cards for Claude. Anthropic or its payment processors handle those transactions.
- Anthropic support records. We do not control support tickets, trust requests, or privacy requests submitted to Anthropic.
Cookies & analytics
We use essential cookies to operate c-ai.chat. We may also use analytics cookies or similar technologies to understand visits, referral sources, browser type, device type, approximate location, and general usage patterns.
Analytics data helps us fix broken pages, improve navigation, reduce spam, and understand which guides are useful. It does not include your Claude prompts unless you submit that content to c-ai.chat.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Some site functions, analytics, or advertising features may work less reliably if cookies are blocked.
Advertising partners
c-ai.chat may use Google AdSense to display ads. AdSense may use cookies, advertising identifiers, IP-derived location signals, and page context to select ads, measure performance, limit repeated ads, and detect invalid activity.
Google controls its advertising systems under its own privacy rules. You can manage ad personalization through your Google Account, browser settings, and device privacy controls. If you limit personalized ads, you may still see contextual ads based on the page you are viewing or general location signals.
We do not sell contact emails, messages, or comments to data brokers. Some privacy laws treat targeted advertising or ad measurement as a sale, share, or targeted advertising. Where applicable, use available browser, device, and consent controls to limit that processing.
Third-party services
We use outside services to host, secure, deliver, and maintain c-ai.chat.
- Hosting provider. Serves site pages, stores the WordPress database, keeps backups, and maintains server logs.
- CDN and security provider. Caches public pages, routes requests, blocks abusive traffic, and helps protect the site from attacks.
- Email provider. Delivers contact form messages, privacy requests, administrative notices, and replies from c-ai.chat.
- Analytics provider. Reports traffic patterns so we can improve navigation, fix broken pages, and measure site performance.
- Advertising provider. Google AdSense may provide ad delivery, ad measurement, and fraud-prevention services where ads are displayed.
- Spam and moderation tools. Help detect abusive comments, form submissions, and automated traffic.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, privacy laws may give you rights over personal information associated with your email address, comment identity, or messages to c-ai.chat.
- Access. You can ask whether we hold personal information linked to you.
- Correction. You can ask us to correct inaccurate information where we can verify it.
- Deletion. You can ask us to delete contact messages, comments, or other personal information where deletion is legally and technically possible.
- Portability. You can ask for a copy of personal information you provided to us in a common electronic format.
- Objection or restriction. You can object to certain processing or ask us to limit it where applicable.
- Advertising and analytics choices. You can use browser, device, and available consent controls to limit non-essential cookies and advertising-related processing.
To exercise these rights, email [email protected]. We may need enough information to verify that the request relates to you.
Data retention
We keep data only as long as needed for the reason it was collected, unless a longer period is required for security, legal, or operational reasons.
- Server and security logs: kept for site operations, debugging, security review, and abuse prevention.
- Analytics data: kept in aggregate or pseudonymous form according to analytics provider settings.
- Contact and privacy messages: kept while we handle the request and maintain reasonable records.
- Comments: kept while published or needed for moderation history.
- Backups: retained under our hosting provider’s backup cycle, then replaced or deleted.
Deleted records may remain in backups until those backups are replaced or deleted under the relevant provider’s backup process.
International transfers
c-ai.chat is an online publication, so hosting, CDN, analytics, advertising, email, and security providers may process data in more than one country. Where privacy laws require transfer safeguards, we rely on appropriate safeguards offered by those providers and limit the personal information we collect.
Children’s privacy
c-ai.chat is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, email us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.
Changes to this policy
We mark policy revisions on the final line of this page. If we make material changes, we will post a prominent notice on this page before or when the changes take effect.
