6 min read

These c-ai.chat terms apply only to this independent editorial website about Claude AI: we are not Anthropic, you may reuse limited content for personal and non-commercial purposes with attribution, and nothing here governs your Claude account.

Terms of use — c-ai.chat editorial site.

Contents

  • Independent site: c-ai.chat is not Anthropic and does not operate Claude.
  • Permitted reuse: Short, attributed, non-commercial excerpts are allowed.
  • Official accounts: Claude accounts, API access, billing, and support are governed by Anthropic.

Scope

These terms cover the c-ai.chat website only. They apply when you browse our pages, quote our guides, send feedback, or use material published on c-ai.chat. Our site explains Claude, Anthropic, claude.ai, API concepts, model differences, pricing, and related resources from an independent editorial perspective.

These terms do not cover your Claude account, subscription, API access, billing, workspace, support request, safety duties, or data settings. Anthropic controls those relationships through its own terms at anthropic.com/legal and through the terms shown inside Anthropic’s official products. For c-ai.chat context, see our Claude pricing guide, Claude model guide, Claude features guide, and Claude API guide.

Content licence

You may read, quote, print, save, and share c-ai.chat content for personal and non-commercial use. You may also use short excerpts in presentations, coursework, internal reference notes, or commentary when the use is not a substitute for the original page and you give clear attribution. Attribution means naming c-ai.chat and linking to the source page when the use is online.

You may not sell, syndicate, republish in bulk, train a dataset from, mirror, scrape into a product, or otherwise commercially exploit our content without written permission. You also may not remove context in a way that makes our editorial work appear to be official Anthropic documentation. All rights not granted here are reserved.

Example

You can quote a short passage in an internal training deck if you name c-ai.chat and include the page URL. You need written permission to copy a full guide into a paid course, database, or competing site.

User submissions (comments, feedback)

If you send comments, corrections, examples, questions, emails, form responses, or other feedback to c-ai.chat, you keep ownership of your submission. You grant c-ai.chat a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, edit, publish, translate, display, and distribute that submission as needed to operate, moderate, improve, and promote the site.

Only submit material that you have the right to share. Do not send confidential business information, passwords, API keys, private Claude conversations, personal data you are not authorised to share, or content that infringes someone else’s rights. We may edit, decline, remove, or ignore submissions at our discretion, including for accuracy, safety, moderation, formatting, or relevance.

Trademarks

Anthropic, Claude, claude.ai, and related names, logos, product names, and marks belong to Anthropic or its licensors. c-ai.chat uses those names only to identify and discuss Anthropic’s products and services in an editorial context. Nothing on this site grants you a right to use Anthropic’s marks. Nothing on this site suggests that Anthropic sponsors, endorses, operates, or controls c-ai.chat.

c-ai.chat links to third-party websites for context, verification, and reader convenience. This includes official Anthropic pages such as claude.ai, Claude developer docs, Claude API platform, Claude status, and Anthropic Trust Center. We do not control third-party sites, and we are not responsible for their content, policies, availability, pricing, security, or decisions.

No warranty

c-ai.chat is provided as is. We aim to publish accurate, useful, and clear information, but we do not promise that every page, comparison, link, example, model description, pricing reference, or workflow note will be complete, current, error-free, secure, or suitable for your use case. Claude products, plans, API behaviour, limits, policies, and documentation can change outside our control.

You are responsible for checking official sources before making decisions that affect money, legal obligations, security, compliance, production systems, or customer commitments. For plan and billing information, verify with the official Claude pricing page. For common editorial questions about this site, use our Claude FAQ.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, c-ai.chat and its owners, authors, editors, contributors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages. This includes loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, business opportunity, or system availability arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site.

Our total liability for any claim connected with c-ai.chat is limited to the amount you paid us to access the site. Because the site is available for general reading without a direct access fee, that amount will usually be zero. Some laws do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law does not allow that limit.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the site, editorial processes, technical setup, or legal requirements change. The version posted on this page is the current version. If you continue using c-ai.chat after changes are posted, you accept the updated terms.
