This page explains the boundary between c-ai.chat and Claude. We publish independent editorial guidance. Anthropic makes Claude. claude.ai is the official product.

What data we collect
We minimise collection. We collect only what we need to serve pages, measure whether guides work, prevent abuse, and reply when you contact us.
- Essential cookies. Keep the site working, remember consent choices, and support basic security controls.
- Basic analytics. Measure page views, referral sources, device categories, and search performance so we can improve guides and fix weak pages.
- Server logs. Help diagnose errors, block malicious requests, investigate spam, and review security reports.
- Contact email. Let us reply if you send a message, verify a report, or ask for clarification.
- Outbound link data. We may measure outbound clicks in aggregate, including links to Claude developer docs and Anthropic support pages. Destination sites apply their own policies.
What we do not have
c-ai.chat does not sit between you and Claude. We do not operate the official app, API platform, account billing, or enterprise administration.
Security boundary
- No Claude passwords
- No API keys
- No chat transcripts
- No payment data
- Claude account credentials. We are not claude.ai, and we cannot create, reset, inspect, or secure your Claude login.
- API keys. We do not issue keys, store keys, test keys, or rotate keys. Manage Claude API access through Anthropic’s platform.
- Claude chat content. We cannot view your conversations in Claude or your API prompts and responses.
- Payment information. We do not process Claude subscriptions, invoices, cards, or refunds.
- Your email address unless you contact us. Reading c-ai.chat does not require an account. If you email us, we use your address to respond.
- Claude training control. We do not train Claude, operate Claude models, or provide Anthropic with private visitor data for model training.
How we protect the site
We use controls appropriate for an independent WordPress editorial site. They protect the integrity and availability of c-ai.chat. They do not replace Anthropic’s product controls for Claude accounts or API usage.
HTTPS only
We serve the site over HTTPS so traffic between your browser and c-ai.chat is encrypted in transit. If you see a browser warning, stop and check the address before continuing.
Updated WordPress core and plugins
We maintain WordPress core, theme, and plugins, and remove components we do not need. Fewer moving parts reduce the attack surface.
Restricted administration
We restrict direct file editing from the WordPress dashboard and limit administrative access. Site changes should go through controlled publishing paths.
XML-RPC disabled
We disable the legacy XML-RPC endpoint to reduce automated login abuse and common WordPress probing.
Content authenticity workflow
We review security-sensitive claims before publication, prefer official Anthropic links for product facts, and separate editorial interpretation from official documentation. See the author page for editorial context.
We also monitor for broken links, suspicious redirects, and pages that could blur the boundary between c-ai.chat, Anthropic, and Claude. If a page makes that boundary unclear, report it.

Anthropic is responsible for Claude product security. That includes authentication, account recovery, API access, organization controls, product data handling, enterprise security features, incident response, and official documentation for developers and administrators.
